Andre, Harang Choi
On the left is The Snake Holding Starlight by Andre, a 15-year-old autistic young artist. For the artist, stars symbolize wonderful and bright dreams and hopes, and he imagined his blue snake friend dreaming in the cosmos while embracing that starlight.
The work on the right, Blue Sly by student Choi Harang, is an homage to Andre’s piece. Through abstract and symbolic expression, it depicts the snake as a being in which the dynamism of nature and life, diversity and harmony, and the coexistence of danger and beauty all reside.
왼쪽 작품은 자폐를 지닌 15세 소년 예술가 안드레의 ‘별빛을 품은 뱀’입니다. 작가에게 별은 멋지고 밝은 꿈과 희망을 상징하며, 파란 뱀 친구가 별빛을 품고 우주에서 꿈꾸는 모습을 상상하며 표현한 작품입니다.이 작품을 오마주한 오른쪽 작품은 최하랑 학생의 ‘Blue sly’로, 추상적이고 상징적인 표현을 통해 자연과 생명의 역동성, 다양성과 조화, 그리고 위험성과 아름다움이 공존하는 존재로서의 뱀을 담아냈습니다.
