Jaeyong Choi, Sunghyun Kim
On the left is Resembling Flowers by artist Choi Jaeyong. Featuring rainbow-colored flowers alongside a self-portrait reflected in a mirror, the work conveys a message that just as nature’s diverse forms of beauty harmonize, we too can complement one another. It depicts the happiness felt as the artist’s outward appearance and inner self, mirrored back, grow to resemble one another.
On the right is Sun Flower by artist Kim Sunghyun, a poem inspired by Choi’s painting. This piece, combining visual art and literary art, aims to portray the image of a garden that preserves a sense of primal beauty while remaining detached from the world.
왼쪽 작품은 최재용 작가의 ‘꽃을 닮다’입니다. 무지개빛 꽃과 거울 속 자화상을 함께 담아, 자연속의 다양한 아름다움이 조화롭게 어우러지듯 우리 역시 서로 잘 어울릴 수 있다는 메시지를 전하고자 했습니다. 거울에 비친 내면의 모습과 자신의 모습을 닮아가며 행복을 느끼는 모습을 표현한 작품입니다.오른쪽 작품은 이 작품에서 영감을 받아 김성현 작가가 시로 풀어낸 ‘Sunflower’ 입니다. 평면 미술과 언어 예술이 결합된 작품으로, 세상과 단절되어 원초적인 아름다움을 간직한 정원의 이미지를 그리고자 했다고 합니다.
