"This virtual space is a representation of dreams I've had over the past several years. Some elements within this space accurately depict specific, memorable dreams, while others symbolically express the emotions I felt after dreaming. I believe that the digital medium is particularly effective for conveying dreams, as it provides immersion and emphasizes three-dimensional structures without being bound by the laws of physical reality. To highlight the unique qualities of this medium, I sought to combine two-dimensional flat images with irregularly lit surfaces within a three-dimensional space."
가상 공간은 제가 수년간 꿔온 꿈들의 표현입니다. 이 공간 안의 일부 요소들은 인상 깊었던 특정 꿈들을 사실적으로 묘사한 것이며, 다른 요소들은 꿈을 꾼 후 느꼈던 감정들을 보다 추상적으로 상징합니다. 디지털 공간은 몰입감을 제공하고 일반 물리 법칙에 얽매이지 않으면서도 3차원적 구조를 강조할 수 있다는 점에서 꿈을 표현하는 데 특히 효과적이라고 생각합니다. 저는 이러한 매체의 차이를 부각하기 위해 2차원 평면 이미지와 불규칙하게 조명된 표면을 3차원 공간 안에 함께 활용하려 했습니다.
