Sieun Park, Dahye Lim
On the left is Daily Life of Mamelping by Park Sieun, a second-year middle school student who dreams of becoming a character designer. The work depicts the peaceful daily life of Mamelping, who lives in Mushroom Land and enjoys a leisurely stroll.
On the right is The Beauty in My Mind by student Lim Dahye, a piece created using Park Sieun’s unique characters. In particular, the characters crossing the bridge were newly added, inspired by another of Park’s earlier works. Through the image of two friends crossing the bridge, the artist aimed to deliver a message of connection between the two pieces.
왼쪽 작품은 캐릭터 디자이너를 꿈꾸는 중학교 2학년 박시은 작가의 ‘마멜핑의 일상’입니다. 버섯나라에 살고 있는 마멜핑이 한가롭게 산책하며 느끼는 평온한 일상을 담았습니다. 오른쪽 작품은 임다혜 학생의 ‘내 머릿속의 아름다움’으로, 박시은 작가의 고유한 캐릭터들을 활용해 완성한 작품 입니다. 특히 다리를 건너는 캐릭터들의 모습은 박시은 작가의 또 다른 이전 작품에서 영감을 받아 새롭게 더한 부분이라고 합니다. 다리를 건너는 두 친구의 모습을 통해 두 작품이 하나로 이어지는 소통의 메시지를 전하고자 했습니다.
