Sun Lee, Minjae Kang
On the left is My Family by artist Lee Hae, depicting a family of wolves making wishes under a night sky filled with falling stars.
On the right is Running Towards My Family by student Kang Minjae. Kang interpreted the three animals gazing at the moon in Lee’s painting as family members longing for him, and imagined the opposite scene — himself running from the moon toward his family. The dog, representing the artist, conveys a sense of anticipation and happiness as it runs toward loved ones. Kang aimed to express not only the longing felt between separated family members but also, more broadly, the love that connects them.
왼쪽 작품은 이해 작가의 ‘My Family’ 입니다. 별똥별이 떨어지는 밤하늘 아래에서 늑대 가족이 소원을 비는 모습을 담은 작품입니다. 오른쪽 작품은 강민재 학생의 ‘Running Towards My Family’로, 이해 작가의 그림에 등장하는 달을 바라보는 세 마리 동물을 가족이 나를 그리워하는 모습으로 해석하고, 그 반대편 장면을 상상하여 달에서 가족을 향해 달려가는 ‘나’를 표현했습니다. 강민재 학생은 자신을 상징하는 강아지가 가족에게 달려가며 느끼는 기대감과 행복을 중점적으로 묘사했으며, 떨어져 있는 가족 간의 그리움과 가족 간의 사랑을 전달하고자 했습니다.
