Yongwon Kim, Siwoo Yang

The work on the left is The Face of a Zebra by youth artist Kim Yongwon. This piece was created in that very manner—after prolonged observation of a zebra, the artist captured the internalized image in a single, expressive outpouring onto the canvas.

The work on the right, titled Zebra, is by student Yang Siwoo and serves as an homage to Kim Yongwon’s piece. Here, the zebra’s stripes function not merely as decorative patterns, but as a window into the inner self. It suggests that only when we shift our gaze inward—away from the external world—can we truly confront the essence of who we are.
