집에서 라디오를 주로 트는데, 주로 재즈나 클래식 장르가 많이 나와서 최근 가장 많이 반복해서 듣는 것 같습니다.
스마트폰에서 가장 자주 사용하는 앱은 무엇인가요?
유튜브를 자주 사용합니다. 유튜브에 다양한 컨텐츠가 있어서 공부를 하면서 강의 영상을 보기도 하고 노래를 듣고 싶을 때 플레이리스트를 검색해서 듣기도 합니다. 최근 이슈되는 사건들도 유튜브 영상으로 쉽게 접근할 수 있고 여러 중요한 이야기들도 많이 있어서 자주 쓰는 것 같아요
시간 여행을 할 수 있다면 과거로 가고 싶으신가요, 아니면 미래로 가고 싶으신가요?
미래로 가고 싶습니다. 졸업을 하고 대학에 갔을 때나 이후에 직업을 가졌을 때로 여행해보고 싶어요
본인을 색깔 하나로 표현한다면 어떤 색일까요?
로즈골드, 골드와 핑크색이 조화롭게 어우러지는 은은한 색인데, 색깔이 크게 화려하진 않지만 따뜻함을 가지고 있어서 실제로 많이 사용하는 색입니다. 전등으로 온화한 분위기를 만들어주고 악세서리로는 은은하게 빛나서 좋아하는 색 입니다. 그러하여 저도 이 색과 닮은 사람이 되고 싶습니다
작품을 만들 때 가장 중요하게 생각하는 주제나 메시지는 무엇인가요?
저는 단순히 예쁜 결과물을 만드는 것보다 보는 사람이 작품 속에서 따뜻함을 잘 느낄 수 있어야 한다고 생각하고
또한, 작품을 통해 전달하고 싶은 의도나 정서가 잘 전달되기 위해선 진정함과 노력이 필요하다고 생각합니다
손우진 학생의 작품을 보았을 때 어떤 느낌이나 감정이 들었나요? 작품 감상 후기가 궁금합니다.
처음 봤을 때 손우진 학생의 작품은 색감이 정말 예쁘다고 생각했습니다. 보라색과 파란색이 섞인 배경이 밤하늘이나 바다처럼 느껴졌고 고래 안에 있는 노란 불빛들이 온화하게 반짝여서 편안하고 아름다운 분위기 속에서 감상할 수 있었습니다. 또한 고래 안에 도시가 있는 게 새로웠고, 작품 속에 많은 디테일이 이 작품을 아름답게 구성하고 있어서 인상적이었습니다.
이번 전시가 본인뿐만 아니라 다른 학생 작가들에게도 어떤 의미가 있었으면 하나요?
각자 다른 방식으로 그린 작품을 보면서 새로운 시각을 가지는 좋은 경험이 되었으면 합니다!
What song have you been listening to on repeat the most recently?
At home, I usually keep the radio on, and it mostly plays jazz or classical music, so I think those are the songs I’ve been hearing on repeat the most lately.What app do you use most often on your smartphone?
I use YouTube a lot. There’s a wide range of content, so I watch lecture videos while studying, and when I want to listen to music, I search for playlists and play them. It’s also easy to access recent trending issues through YouTube videos, and there are a lot of important discussions there too, so I think that’s why I use it often.If you could time-travel, would you go to the past or the future?
I’d like to go to the future. I want to travel to the time when I’ve graduated, gone to university, or started a career.If you had to express yourself as a single color, what would it be?
Rose gold—a subtle color where gold and pink blend harmoniously. It’s not overly flashy, but it carries warmth, which is why I actually use it a lot. I like it because it creates a gentle atmosphere when used in lighting and gives a soft glow when used in accessories. I want to become someone who resembles that kind of color.What theme or message do you consider most important when creating a piece of art?
Rather than just creating something that looks pretty, I believe the viewer should be able to truly feel warmth within the artwork. Also, for the intention or emotion I want to convey through the piece to be delivered well, I think sincerity and effort are essential.How did you feel when you saw Son Woojin’s artwork? I’d love to hear your thoughts after viewing it.
When I first saw it, I thought the colors in Son Woojin’s piece were really beautiful. The background, a mix of purple and blue, felt like the night sky or the ocean, and the yellow lights inside the whale shimmered gently, making it feel peaceful and beautiful to look at. The idea of having a city inside the whale was refreshing, and the many small details within the piece made it even more stunning—very impressive.What kind of meaning do you hope this exhibition holds not only for you but also for the other student artists?
I hope it becomes a valuable experience where we can gain new perspectives by seeing how each person expresses themselves through a completely different style.
